Scan through the assigned sources for information about this storm.  Why is the storm sometimes referred to as a landicane? Where does a storm like this derive its energy.  This storm set a new sea level low pressure record for the continental US (for non tropical storms).  How low did the pressure get?  How strong were the winds associated with this storm?  You'll find reference to the "Edmund Fitzgerald Storm of 1975", the "1993 Storm of the Century", and the "Perfect Storm of 1991".  You can earn up to 3 additional content points by including information about these storms in your report (1 point per storm).

Writing Quality

Explain the material in your own words - your report should be your understanding and explanation of the material.  Try to  should include specific details and examples from the reading section.  The separate sections or paragraphs of your paper should blend together into one seamless coherent report.  Your report should be nearly free of misspelled words and grammatical errors.
