Writing Guidelines
The "Scientific Paper" deals with climate
change. It is intended for a
general
audience and answers many of the most commonly asked questions
about
climate
change.
Your report should be
double
spaced and should be 3 to 4
pages long. There is probably too
much
information in the paper for you to include all of it in your
report. You will need to select
some part of the
paper to read for you report. You
might,
for example, look at some of the questions that are of
particular
interest to
you. Or (and this is what I would
suggest) try to find a question that relates to each of the
different
aspects
of climate change. For example, you
might find information in the paper that answers some or all of
the
following
questions:
What is climate change?
What are some of the
natural
and possible human-causes of
climate change? Have human
activities
caused climate change?
What recent changes in
climate have occurred?
How is future climate
change
predicted? What are some of the
changes
that are being
predicted?
Can we do anything to
stop
human-caused climate change?
