ATMO451b/551b
 MWF 11:00-11:50; PAS 488

We continue our introduction to physical meteorology with topics in aerosol mechanics and filtration, the mechanics of ideal and real fluids, and atmospheric acoustics. Next, we will discuss atmospheric radiation, single and multiple scattering, radiative transfer, and selected topics in remote sensing. Our final lectures will cover cloud physics, weather modification, and (hopefully) atmospheric electricity.
