Mr. Stephen W. Bieda, III |
Mr. Stephen W. Bieda, III is a 3rd-year Graduate student, 1st year Doctoral Student within the Department of Atmospheric Sciences. His research specialties include climate variability and synoptic meteorology. Currently, his research focus is on the North American Monsoon. Mr. Bieda has received his Bachelors of Science in Atmospheric Sciences with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 2003. Mr. Bieda is also expecting to receive his Masters of Science within the same field very shortly from the University of Arizona. He is the sitting Vice President to the local chapter of the American Meteorological Society (having served in that capacity for 3 1/2 years) and is also the sitting President and co-founder of the Associate Graduate Council for the College of Science (recently re-elected). You will find that Mr. Bieda is an invaluable resource for answering any questions you may have about course content. Please feel free to e-mail him, using a valid arizona.edu account with NATS101-6 in the header, or drop by during his office hours MWF from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. He will be in charge of grading all quizzes, assignments and will occasionally substitute in the event of Prof. Castro’s absence from class. |
