Today's music-before-class-starts is "When the Day met the Night" by Panic at the Disco
and is from their 2008 Pretty.Odd. CD

Now before you start complimenting Mr. Weidman on his choice and his wide knowledge of music you should know
that this was actually recommended by a student in this class
(Mr. Weidman had never heard of Panic at the Disco until a week or two ago)

It's a nice song for the last day of classes (a day I'll bet you thought would never arrive)

The moon and the sun meet in a garden in the summer and fall in love

It's a pretty optimistic song (though there's a hint that the sun might dump the moon at some point)

That's good because there is of course a black cloud on the horizon
But we'll come back to that later

There's another nice song on the CD "Do you Know What I'm Seeing"
about clouds and weather and people and what seems like an uneasy coexistence

The Panic at the Disco people must have taken a NATS 101 class at some point in their lives
