Here are some questions you might address in your report.  What is the Beaufort Scale?  When was it created and what was it originally used for?  My hope is that after reading about the Beaufort Scale you might be able to go outdoors and make a reasonable accurate estimate of wind speed.  What kinds of signs or clues would you look for?  At what speeds do winds become damaging and hazardous?  How fast are the winds in a hurricane? 

Writing Quality

Explain the material in your own words - your report should be your understanding and explanation of the material.  Avoid generalites, try to include specific details and examples from the reading section.  The separate sections or paragraphs of your paper should blend together into one seamless coherent report.  Your report should be nearly free of misspelled words and grammatical errors. If you use any additional refererence sources, be sure to cite them.
