A couple of songs from Manu Chao ("Me Gustas Tu" and "La Vida Tombola") before the start of the review.

The last day of classes and the first 50 minutes of close to 5 hours of scheduled reviews for the Final Exams.  You can find the times and locations of the two remaining reviews on the Final Exam Study Outline.  Be sure to have a look at the bottom of the study outline, it provides some additional information about questions that will be on the exam.

The following figures are from today's review.  The large numbers at the top left of each figure refer to sections on the Study Outline.

Basic information about the 5 most abundant gases in the atmosphere.

Tropospheric ozone (above) is a pollutant and the key ingredient in photochemical smog.  Stratospheric ozone is covered below.

Thinning of the ozone layer in the stratosphere is not the cause of climate change and global warming.  The small additional amount of UV light arriving at the ground will not cause global warming.  That UV light can cause skin cancer and cataracts, that sort of thing, but not global warming.

The review will start up again at this point at 2 pm on Thursday afternoon in Education 353.
